Original Summary
Hey everyone, I've been building RangeLab, a self-hosted poker study suite, and I'm at the point where I'd rather sell it than keep maintaining it solo. Posting here before I go looking for a buyer because this community will tell me exactly what's wrong with it. What it is 8 integrated tools in one Flask app: - Equity Lab — Monte Carlo equity vs multiple opponents - Preflop Lab — 6-max/8-max charts + trainer - Bankroll Lab — ROI, tournament/cash tracking - Hand Lab — hand history import, replay, stats, notes - Range Lab — heatmaps, leak detection - MTT Exploiter — pool profiling - AI Table — NLHE vs AI opponents (6/8-max), saves hands to Hand Lab - Tournament Lab — ICM, structures Why self-hosted Because the alternative is five subscriptions and your hand histories living on someone else's server. Everything shares data across modules, and backup is copying one SQLite file. Stack Python 3.12, Flask 3, SQLite, Gunicorn, Docker Compose. PWA with service worker and an offline queue that syncs in order when connection returns. Setup wizard on first boot, admin panel for users/plans/invite codes, white-label from the panel. The honest bit I'm selling it. One-time payment, negotiable. Not pretending this is a disinterested post. But I'd genuinely like to know: Would you self-host something like this, or is it too niche? Anything in the stack you'd change before handing it to a buyer? Is "self-hosted + monetize your own instance" a viable pitch in 2026? Happy to answer anything technical. submitted by /u/Legitimate_Toe_4344 [link] [comments]
