Original Summary

I've been working on Small Dot, a world map with people's profiles attached to dots. The idea is to let people share a little about themselves and discover others around the world(in an empty world currently 😄). Profiles can include a photo, a short bio, interests, and optional Homepage, Instagram and Linktree links. People choose their city when joining, and their dot is placed randomly within that city. You don't enter your home address. Browsing is free. Publishing a profile costs €2.90 once and also unlocks keyword and profile filters. There's no subscription, and accounts are for people aged 18 and over. It just launched, so the map is still empty. There are three pictures on the homepage showing the map, a filled-out example profile and the filters. https://smalldot.world/ Does the idea make sense when you first open the site? I'd appreciate feedback on the map and profile layout. Thanks! submitted by /u/p6d3r [link] [comments]
