Original Summary
I read a fair bit of Christian stuff (Lewis, Packer, Bonhoeffer, some fiction), and I’ve always wanted somewhere to keep track of it and see what other Christians actually thought of a book before I buy it. Goodreads has everything, but the Christian books get buried, and the reviews are a mixed bag. So I built Lamplit (lamplit.org). You can: log books you’ve read, rate them (half stars) and write a review add a Bible verse the book brought to mind follow other readers, make lists and pick your four favourites import your history from Goodreads or StoryGraph It’s free, there are no ads, and I’m not selling anyone’s data. It’s a side project, not a business. It’s very early and quite empty, which is partly why I’m posting. I’d really value people trying it and telling me what’s confusing, broken or missing. Also, what would make you actually use something like this instead of Goodreads? Many thanks for reading this far! submitted by /u/InterestingTry7351 [link] [comments]
