Original Summary

Most "if you liked X" lists match on genre. But I never love Breaking Bad because it's "a crime drama". I love it because a decent man slowly talks himself into becoming a monster. So I built becauseiliked.com : you describe what you loved and why, in your own words, and it finds films, shows, books and games that share that . Each pick tells you which part of your "why" it matches. The video shows the core flow. Not in the video. I shipped these after recording, so they're yours to find: Open Breaking Bad , Interstellar or The Witcher 3 and scroll to "More like…". It now tells you why each one fits. Sign in and love a few things. Your taste ends up somewhere you might want to share. Tell it which streaming services you have and see what changes. Coming from Letterboxd or Goodreads? Bring your ratings with you; no starting from zero. It's free and there are no ads. Search works without an account. What I'd love from you: a search where it got it wrong. The best feedback I've had was someone asking for "a drama where the lead is a sarcastic stoic". It missed House and Sherlock, and I'm fixing it right now.
