Original Summary

Hi all. I made Wishes ( https://wishes.feco.pro/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=r_sideproject ) and I'd like some outside eyes on it before I spend more time on it. The idea is small. Instead of a "happy birthday!!" text, you write a message, pick a look, and send one link. They open it on their phone, tap to open the surprise, and get your message with confetti. They don't need an account or an app. What's in it right now: Free: one card a month with your message, confetti and a shareable link Paid cards can add a voice recording, up to 5 photos, background music, a scratch-to-reveal message, and scheduled delivery so it goes live on the actual day $0.99 for a single card with everything, or $1.99 / $3.99 a month if you send a lot of them Here's what the person receiving it sees, no signup needed: https://wishes.feco.pro/b?name=Sam&age=30&message=Happy%20birthday%20from%20the%20demo&utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=r_sideproject Stack is Next.js, Postgres with Prisma, NextAuth (Google) and Stripe, running on my own server. Three things I'd really like opinions on: You have to sign in with Google before making a card. Is that enough to make you close the tab? The pricing page has five tiers. I think that's too many. Which would you cut? Would you actually send one of these to a friend, or does it feel like a gimmick? I'll be in the comments for the next few hours. submitted by /u/No_Insurance3257 [link] [comments]
