Original Summary

Hey everyone! I started training about 2 years ago. I realized I wasn't getting any younger, and sitting all day probably wasn't helping with that, plus, I often felt like I didn't have enough energy even for regular daily activities. Then someone told me that, surprisingly, exercising actually gives you energy rather than just taking it away. So I started going to the gym. I created my first training plan with AI, based on my previous experience, exercises I liked and disliked, personal preferences, and goals. It actually took me quite a while to figure out what I really enjoyed doing. At first, I didn't want to mess with any workout trackers. I just kept notes on my phone with my exercises, weights, and reps. It was also convenient because I could paste the whole program back into AI whenever I wanted to change something. I was training consistently and pushing myself, but I wasn't seeing much visible progress. And one thing that started annoying me was keeping my notes organized. For example, when a machine was taken and I had to replace an exercise with something similar, my logs would become a mess. I also realized that writing something like "10–12 reps, 20–22.5 kg" wasn't really helping me track progress. I wanted to know exactly what I'd done last time, so during each workout I could try to beat my previous result, even if it was just one extra rep at the same weight. And yes, the obvious answer was to install a workout tracker. I tried a few, but they felt overcomplicated for what I needed. Too many things on the screen, too many features I didn't care about. I just wanted something fast and lightweight, with my training program right in front of me, single page, big and easy to read, and a simple way to swap exercises when equipment wasn't available. So I decided to build my own. After a few months of using it, I noticed something funny. I'd finish a workout, feel completely energized, and immediately want to fix some tiny UI/UX thing that had annoyed me during the session. Sometimes it was just one extra tap that could be removed or something that could be easier to see. And since I was building it for myself, I could just go home and fix it. That part has honestly been really enjoyable. Building something, actually using it every day, noticing what could be better, and improving it. Eventually I thought, why not make it public? It could be a nice addition to my portfolio, and I'd be really happy if it helped someone else get into training or made tracking a little easier for people who already do. So here it is: https://openlog.fit It's a PWA, so you can install it directly from your browser. It works offline, is completely free, doesn't require an account, and doesn't track you. I also added free AI workout plan generation. You can create a new plan from scratch or bring your existing program and turn it into something you can actually log, without manually entering ev
