Original Summary
I'm a solo dev, and Spoke is my app. Journaling is the one habit I could never keep. I'd write three pages on day one, it would turn into a 45-minute chore by day four, and I'd quit by day ten. That happened six times. What finally stuck was talking instead of writing. So I built Spoke , a voice journal: Tap once and talk. Most entries take 60–90 seconds. Read it back instead of re-listening. Every entry is transcribed, and you can search all of them. Tag your mood with one tap. Weekly Mirror: once a week it points out patterns you'd miss. Mine noticed I'm low most Tuesdays. Privacy, since it's always the first question: your audio never leaves your phone, and there's no account. Recording and transcription work in airplane mode, so you can check that yourself. The only thing sent anywhere is the transcript text, once a week, for the Weekly Mirror. Stack: Flutter, on-device transcription, one codebase for iOS and Android. What I'd love: honest feedback. What's confusing, what's missing, and what would make you actually keep using it? Your first entry is free. If you want to try premium properly, comment and I'll DM you a free month. Android: Play Store IOS: App Store submitted by /u/Marvel_SPideRRMAN [link] [comments]
