Original Summary

Hey everyone! I recently released Sukoon (سكون) , an Islamic prayer and Athkar app I've been developing as an independent project. There are already plenty of prayer apps out there, but I wanted to build something different: a clean, peaceful experience that focuses on what matters without ads, subscriptions, unnecessary complexity, or distractions. Sukoon is designed specifically for the Apple ecosystem, with a native interface and backgrounds that change throughout the day. What it includes: Prayer times with customizable calculation methods and Athan notifications A live Qibla compass and map Morning and evening Athkar, plus daily Du'a Prayer tracking and a Hijri calendar Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets An Apple Watch app with prayer complications Full Arabic and English support Everything is free. No ads, subscriptions, in-app purchases, accounts, or analytics. Personal activity data stays on your device. I know the prayer app space is crowded, but my goal wasn't to add every possible feature. I wanted to make something simple, polished, and enjoyable to use every day. App Store: Download Sukoon for iOS I'd genuinely appreciate feedback, especially on the design, usability, widgets, and Apple Watch experience. If you use prayer apps, what do you think most of them get wrong? And what would make you switch to a different one? Thanks for checking it out! submitted by /u/bassamz [link] [comments]
