Original Summary
Solar proposals can involve tens of thousands of dollars, financing terms, equipment specs and savings projections. That’s a lot to evaluate when you don’t work in the industry. I built BidProof to give homeowners an independent second look before they sign. You upload a proposal and get a report explaining the pricing, financing, equipment, production estimates and warranty terms. You can also include the contract to check how it lines up with the proposal. I don’t sell solar or receive installer referral fees. The homeowner is our customer. The reviews are 100% FREE during early access while I collect feedback. There’s also a sample report on the site if you don’t have a quote handy. You can check it out here: https://bidproof.com I’d love feedback on two things: - Is it immediately clear what you’d get from a review? - What would you need to see before trusting a service like this with your solar proposal? And if you’ve bought solar before, what do you wish someone had checked before you signed? submitted by /u/J_H_Denver_Tech [link] [comments]
