Original Summary
I stream quite a bit and wanted a simple soundboard that didn't involve buying extra hardware or paying for another subscription. Literally just something where I could throw in a few sounds, assign some keys and have them play while I'm streaming. Couldn't really find anything that did exactly what I wanted without a load of extra stuff, so I decided to build one myself. It's called Cueboard . Pretty straightforward: Drag in your own audio files or paste a YouTube link to grab the audio. Assign hotkeys that work even when you're in another app. Choose where the audio plays, whether that's your headphones or a separate output for your stream. Everything runs locally. No accounts, no cloud storage, no subscriptions. It's Windows only for now. (but I can make it for MacOS if there is a demand) I've made it completely free to download. Nothing is locked behind a paywall. I'm still working on improving it, so I'd genuinely appreciate people trying it out and telling me what's shit, what breaks, or what they'd want added. Am I missing something obvious? https://preview.redd.it/4xfoohnxugvh1.png?width=1136&format=png&auto=webp&s=c1369d84995f626104d05563488d1d4220538015 submitted by /u/steelzz-on-yt [link] [comments]
