Original Summary
I'm the creator of Somora, an AI music platform. I've added Kassio Studio, a browser DAW that's free for every registered user. The new part is hands-on editing: bring in audio from your computer, record something, arrange tracks and add drums or instruments. The piano roll lets you drag notes and change their duration; the mixer has EQ, reverb and delay. Projects are saved to the account, and export is WAV. It also opens finished Somora songs, but using AI isn't required to use the DAW. It's still in beta. I'd like feedback on one specific flow: import a short audio clip, add an instrument part, then save and export. Does that feel clear enough for someone who hasn't used a DAW before? https://somora.media — free account, then Kassio Studio in the menu. The editor is free; AI song generation has separate plan limits. Screenshot: https://www.instagram.com/p/Deef0g6oDZG/ submitted by /u/jeankassio [link] [comments]
