Original Summary

I have a problem: one more prompt" to Claude Code at 11 PM turns into 2 AM, several nights a week. There was always one more PR I had to look at or one last tiny change that I wnted to push. So I built the opposite of a blocker. CaughtShipping doesn't block anything. You set a Curfew (it starts between 8 and 10 PM). After that, if a work app is in front of you (Cursor, VS Code, Xcode, a terminal, Claude, Codex…), you get a 5-minute grace period to close it. Miss it and that's a "fall": your streak resets and it lands on a public Blotter. Make it to morning and you climb the Wall of Rest. Things I cared about while building it: - It counts minutes, not what you did. No window titles, URLs, keystrokes or screenshots ever leave your machine. A locked screen or sleeping laptop doesn't count. - Real life happens. You get 2 overrides a month, plus 4 "pause tonight" days for deploy nights you see coming. - Light. Rust + Tauri, event-driven, basically 0% CPU when idle. Honest status: the Wall is empty so I'm looking for the first 20 people willing to put their nights on it. It's free on Mac (App Store) and Windows: caughtshipping.com I appreciate any feedback or what Apps are you using that should be added to the tracked list of apps submitted by /u/bumbzor [link] [comments]
