Original Summary
Hey everyone, I've been building SaaS projects for a while, and I wanted to try something a bit different for my next idea. Instead of building another SaaS with a dashboard, monthly subscription, and a bunch of features, I'm experimenting with selling Claude Skills : reusable workflows that turn Claude into something more specialized. My first project is focused on SEO. I put together a pack of 14 skills covering things like technical audits, keyword research, internal linking, content briefs, schema markup, fact-checking, and AI search visibility. The idea is pretty simple: instead of paying for several SEO tools or repeatedly explaining the same workflow to Claude, you give it a skill that guides it through the process. I built the pack around real workflows from working on websites, rather than just wrapping a generic prompt in a product. A few things I've included: 14 specialized skills 28 Python scripts 57 templates and 72 reference notes A one-time payment instead of another monthly subscription I'm currently selling it for €25 on seoskills.click . What I'm trying to figure out now is whether this is a viable business model or just a nice little digital product. A few questions for other founders: Would you pay for a well-tested Claude Skill that saves you hours on a specific task? Do you see Skills becoming a real product category, or will most people just use free open-source alternatives? Would you rather buy individual skills, a bundle, or subscribe to a marketplace that keeps adding new ones? I'm particularly interested in hearing from people already building with Claude Code or selling developer tools. I'm the person behind the product, so this is obviously self-promotion, but I'd genuinely appreciate your thoughts on the business model itself. submitted by /u/DutyOnly4308 [link] [comments]
