Hey everyone! I’m working on GitMint, an open-source Git client for macOS. The idea is simple: I want to make working with Git feel more visual, straightforward, and less overwhelming, without turning it into a bloated application full of features most people don’t need. The goal for GitMint: A clean, modern macOS-friendly interface Browse repositories, branches, and commit history View changed files and diffs Stage and unstage changes Commit changes without constantly switching between the terminal and other tools I’m building it with Rust, Tauri 2, React, and TypeScript. It’s still a work in progress, and I’m building it as an indie developer. I’d love to hear what other developers think. What features would you want from a simple Git client?
