Original Summary
4 Months in and CTRoadmap is coming along great. User feedback has been invaluable and really helped shape the trajectory of the tool. Latest update included the new SYSTEM SNAPSHOT, a one-time scan of the host machine & LAN which should be super helpful for new users ingesting a larger system , while remaining a stand-alone non-integrated documentation tool. Also Included in v0.9.0 - ARM64 support - Expanded Notes for the Handbook (Markdown format) - Improved Connector lines modal Upcoming: - More polished Rack Builder with textures, variety of layouts & actual port connections with cables. - Exploring a GitHub integration so you can backup and pull your entire Atlas from a private repo (a popular method of documenting server setups) - Alternate CANVAS's with bundled layouts or "logical" vs "physical" layouts. CTRoadmap is a free homelab diagram & documentation tool, self-hosted in docker, chiefly for newer enthusiasts starting out and wanting a visual layout of their set-up PLUS track how it all works together. Everything you put in your Diagram is also converted into a scrollable , searchable HANDBOOK you can add to as well. It is intentionally not an integrated system monitoring dashboard like other foss solutions such as homelable. Built using CODEX, more detail on that process in the README on github. submitted by /u/Anti-Hero25 [link] [comments]
