Original Summary

PlayStori started because I wanted better things for my daughters to play and watch. I kept finding intrusive ads, games designed around endless clicking, and rushed videos with very little care behind them. I wanted a place with enjoyable games and thoughtful stories that I’d feel comfortable sharing with my own children. So I started PlayStori.org couple months ago and it is going slow. I’m selecting and testing browser games, improving the site for phones, and creating short illustrated stories. It’s still early, and there’s plenty to improve. Access will always be free. No subscriptions or signups or paid unlocks or any data sharing ever. I’m not asking for money. This is a personal project on a very small budget. I’m using my skills and available tools—including AI-assisted production—to make and refine the stories. I review and edit the results, but I don’t have the time or resources for elaborate native apps or a fully animated series. I’m aiming for small things made with care. I’d appreciate help with any of these: Testing: Try a game on your phone and tell me what works, what breaks, or what should be removed. Ideas: Suggest enjoyable games or story themes we could realistically make on a small budget. Stories: Recommend public-domain stories, or contribute an original story you wrote and are happy for us to adapt. Skills: Small contributions to mobile layouts, game controls, accessibility, illustrations, or subtitle review would help. Our first 3 short stories are published on YouTube . I’m also planning to bring the videos into the web app alongside the games. Our social handle is @ playstoriorg on YT and IG , FB and Tiktok The browser games are ad-free; videos watched through YouTube may show YouTube’s ads. If you have a few minutes, try one game and tell me whether it works comfortably on your phone .
