Original Summary
5 days ago I started a project to make a personal assistant, and now my mind is blown. The app carries its own small Linux (Alpine under proot, no root), and the real coding agents run inside it: Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode. I gave them the phone as tools: read the screen, tap, type, scroll, open apps. They turn on my lights, order a pizza and change the order while it works, reply to messages. It runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan, or OpenCode's free models with no account. It asks before anything that sends or buys. Open source (Apache 2.0): https://github.com/ghorbelhamdi/buddy-android I'd love feedback, especially on the approval design and on what you'd want it to do. submitted by /u/3amae404 [link] [comments]
