Original Summary
Hey everyone! I've been building Nagrik , a civic-tech web app aimed at making community participation more accessible and engaging in India. The idea is simple: we notice problems in our neighborhoods every day, but I wanted to explore how technology could encourage people to take small, positive actions. Here's what I've built so far: Community feed with posts, likes, comments, and leaderboards Weekly civic challenges with virtual rewards Personal civic action tracking and issue reporting A free civic guide covering common community problems User profiles and participation tracking It's currently in public beta , so there's still plenty of room for improvement. Personal issue reports aren't submitted to government authorities, and the rewards are virtual. Live app: https://nagrik-eight.vercel.app You can explore the free guest demo without creating an account. I'd really appreciate 5 minutes of testing. I'd especially like feedback on: Is the interface easy to understand? Did you encounter any bugs or broken features? Would you actually use something like this? What would you add or change? I'm building this independently and would rather hear genuine criticism than just compliments. Thanks to anyone willing to give it a try! I built Nagrik, a civic-tech app for India. Looking for honest feedback from real users. submitted by /u/Hritikm07 [link] [comments]
