Original Summary
My project is rather fresh and new users get a warning from Windows Smartscreen when installing the desktop app. In early testing with only few users I accepted the warning on every install. But now that I am moving from building to marketing focus, it is annoying and potentially turning off some would-be users. I don't even know if the warning is shown to all users or for only a subset. Binaries are signed and this can be verified with Get-AuthenticodeSignature in powershell and I have also submitted the app as false positive to Microsoft. Is there something else I could do to speed up the process? I have understood that every install adds some measure of trust on Microsoft's end, do I just tough it out and wait?
