Original Summary
Hi everyone! I’ve been building What’s Changing UK : https://whatschanging.co.uk The idea came from a simple problem: there are constantly changes to UK rules, costs and everyday life, but the information is scattered across government websites, news articles and different organisations. It can be difficult to work out what’s changing, when it’s happening, and whether it actually affects you. I wanted to bring that information together in one place and explain it in straightforward language. The site covers areas including: Money: tax, savings, benefits and household costs. Work: employment rights, minimum wage and workplace changes. Home: energy costs, housing and other household changes. Life: driving, travel, health and other everyday changes. Business: changes affecting businesses and employers. I’ve also built a Change Tracker so people can browse upcoming and past changes, alongside a What Affects Me? tool to help people find information relevant to them. It’s still a new project, and I’m working on growing the content, improving the experience and making it genuinely useful. I’d love some honest feedback from other people who build things online. If you landed on this site for the first time, would you find it useful? What would you change, add or do differently?
