Original Summary
The layouts Gamma generated often weren't what my boss wanted. I needed more control over the design, but the customization features I was looking for were only available to enterprise customers. So I started experimenting with a different approach. Instead of letting AI decide everything about a slide's layout, what if users could define their own reusable components and templates, and have the AI generate slides within those constraints? One interesting challenge is finding the right balance between flexibility and consistency. If templates are too rigid, the AI struggles to adapt to different content. But if there's too much freedom, the layouts can become unpredictable. I'm curious how others approach this problem. For anyone working on AI document generation or template systems, how do you balance user-defined layouts with AI-generated content? I'd love to hear what you guys think! https://preview.redd.it/zigjlv9mpzuh1.png?width=1903&format=png&auto=webp&s=c022d04c4cf3394d95225a96a5c8c1904837cda3 submitted by /u/Wuyoujae [link] [comments]
