Original Summary

Fair warning: this is a long one. I could’ve written “I built a tool, here’s the link.” But then you’d miss the 5+ years that led to it. TL;DR at the bottom if you’re in a hurry. For years, while my startups kept failing, freelancing on Fiverr is what kept me going. 60+ five-star reviews, clients from all over the world. Most of them were consultants and coaches. And I kept seeing the same thing happen to them. A potential client would reach out. Interested. Warm. Ready. And they’d ask one simple question: “How do we start?” What came next was a mess. A link-in-bio page, made for creators chasing clicks and followers, not for someone trying to win a client. Yet so many professionals still used one. Then a link to their website. A contact form. A booking link. A PDF over email. Then an e-sign request from some other tool. Every step lived somewhere else, and every step was one more chance for the client to get distracted, overthink it, and quietly disappear. These were good professionals. Really good at what they did. And they were losing clients not because of their work, but because of the path between “I’m ready” and “we’ve started.” This time, I didn’t want to build something I’d guessed at. I wanted to build something I’d watched people struggle with, up close, for years. I studied every link tool I could find. The more I looked, the more they all looked the same to me: a stack of links, like one of those expired domain pages full of ads. Nothing about the person behind it. Nothing that made you trust them. Before all this, I’d run my own video editing agency, Unwiring Studios, for a year. It didn’t survive either. But it taught me one thing I’ve used ever since: how to tell a story that makes people trust you that is storytelling. That’s what went into the first thing I built for CroozLink: Crooz AI. A professional tells their own journey, who they are, how they got here, who they help, and Crooz AI turns it into a story carousel, the way I learned to tell stories at the agency. The calls to action sit inside the story, right where they make sense, instead of being stacked at the top begging for a click. You get to know the person first. Then you’re asked to take a step. From there, I kept going. Choosing the right service. Booking. Signing. Paying. And then keeping the work going in the same place. Since January 2026, that’s what I’ve been building: a “work with me” link. The one link a professional sends when a client is ready. It’s called CroozLink. If you’d rather see it than read about it, here’s a demo profile I made for an immigration consultant named Elina. For a couple of minutes, pls act as her client: croozl.ink/lawson You can read her story, pick what brings you to her, see exactly what each service includes, sign an NDA right on the page, book a demo consultation, and see what lands in your inbox. No signup. Best on desktop but it works good on mobile too. One more thing I learned along the way. When I started showing this to bi
