Original Summary
I'm a college student building a sports technology startup focused on analytics and prediction markets. I launched an early version centered around soccer and got around 150 users within the first few days. It was encouraging, but I've realized that getting initial users is very different from building something people consistently return to. I'm now rebuilding the product and trying to understand what sports fans and prediction market users actually find valuable. One thing I've noticed is how fragmented the experience can be. People use different platforms for sports statistics, market information, predictions, and tracking their own performance. I'm curious whether this is actually frustrating for other people or something they've gotten used to. For anyone who follows sports analytics or prediction markets: What platforms do you currently use regularly? What makes you return to those platforms? Is there anything about your current setup that feels unnecessarily complicated? I'm particularly interested in hearing about things people already do rather than hypothetical features they might want. Would appreciate any honest feedback. submitted by /u/FixtureSports [link] [comments]
