Original Summary
I’m the creator of ConfigCraft, a small side project for Minecraft Java server owners. It checks selected server.properties values and explains findings before you approve any edits. For example, difficulty=difficult is a typo: the documented choices are peaceful, easy, normal and hard. A high view-distance is different—it can be valid, so the tool separates optional suggestions from invalid values. You can try the built-in example without opening your own configuration. Files are processed in browser memory, and only approved edits go into the download. It does not manage a running server or check mod/plugin configuration. I’d love feedback on whether the explanations make sense to someone setting up their first server. What setting was hardest for you to understand? Please don’t post files, passwords or private addresses. Try the free checker . No account needed. submitted by /u/maltomm [link] [comments]
