Original Summary
Hi all. I'm Spencer, a product analyst in London, and for the last few months I've been building Keniri. The idea: personality quizzes ask you to rate yourself on a scale, which mostly tells you how you see yourself. Keniri asks about real, recent moments from your life instead, and follows up like a curious person would. At the end it writes a report on how you think, what drives you, where you feel exposed and how you are with people. Every point in it quotes your own words back to you, so you can see exactly what it's based on. You can type your answers or say them out loud, and check the transcript before it sends. There's also a hands-free mode where Keniri reads each question aloud. What it's like: about 30 to 75 minutes, at your own pace. You can finish early after 12 answers and still get a report. No right answers, no scores, no labels. Your data: unless you choose to save them, your answers are deleted once the report is written and the report after 30 days. Voice recordings are never stored. It isn't therapy, and the site says so. Under the hood, for the curious: Claude models do the conversation and the report, OpenAI handles speech, and it all runs on Netlify functions. Each conversation costs under £1 in AI calls, which is why it's invite-only for now. What I need: people willing to do a full conversation and tell me honestly how accurate and useful the report felt, and where it got things wrong. There's a short feedback form at the end, and I read everything. See a sample report (for a made-up person) Join the waitlist and I'll send invites in small batches over the next week or two Happy to answer anything in the comments, including "why would I want this?" submitted by /u/SpencerStern [link] [comments]
