Original Summary
The idea is simple: an AI assistant that helps you reply to messages on Instagram, Reddit, Gmail, and other platforms without constantly switching between apps. Here's what I'm thinking: One-click replies: Click on an incoming message and get a suggested reply. Your own writing style: The AI learns how you naturally communicate, so replies don't sound generic or robotic. Works where you chat: Instead of copying messages into ChatGPT, the assistant works alongside the platform you're already using. You're still in control: Edit the suggested reply before sending it. I know ChatGPT can already generate replies for free. That's what makes me question whether this idea is worth building. Why would someone use my tool instead of ChatGPT? Is the convenience of one-click replies and a personalized writing style enough to make this useful, or is it just another AI wrapper that people don't need? I'm currently building a small prototype and want to validate the idea before investing more time into it. I'd genuinely appreciate honest feedback, especially from people who frequently use AI to write messages or comments. submitted by /u/Ajay2574 [link] [comments]
