Original Summary
Day 10. I was out most of the day, and it turned out to be a useful test of what actually runs without me. What ran by itself - LinkedIn sent its full 30 invites (the daily limit). Total so far: 88 invited, 5 accepted, 0 replies. A 6% acceptance rate is low, so I'm slowing the daily pace instead of speeding it up. I'd rather not lose the account. - The first follow-up questions went out to the people who accepted. - 32 more founders are queued for tomorrow. What I did by hand - Sent 5 emails to founders from my 100-company list, each one opening with a problem I think their users hit, how an agent could fix it, and a line saying "if you're not interested, just reply and I won't follow up". - Checked X for the founders on that list. Of 8 handles, 0 could be messaged. Established B2B founders almost never leave their inbox open to strangers, so for leads like these X is the wrong channel, and I'd rather know that now. Numbers after Day 10 - Paying customers: 0 - Demo calls booked: 1 (Monday) - LinkedIn: 88 invited, 5 connected, 0 replies - X DMs: 31 sent, 5 replies - Cold email: 69 sent, 4 replies, all no Tomorrow (Day 11) I'm taking the day off. It's my first FIDE-rated chess tournament, so I'll be away from the screen all day and hopefully touching some grass. I'm back on Day 12, which is also demo day. Question for you: do you take real days off during a launch push, or does it make it worse? I keep going back and forth. submitted by /u/Southern_Kitchen3426 [link] [comments]
