Original Summary

Shape started as an agentic IDE. Over two months, I rewrote it into an agent for building software. I've been trying to bring a lot of different capabilities into one workspace without making the experience feel fragmented. It works with multiple AI providers, can edit files, run terminal commands, search codebases, plan work and review its own changes with another model. It can connect to tools like GitHub, Figma and Linear, use its own browser, and generate images, audio and SVGs. A lot of the work has gone into getting everything working reliably across different models and making the whole thing feel coherent. It's still early, and there's plenty I want to improve, especially around the browser and design workflows. Would love some feedback.
