Hi everyone, I want to share a project I have been building called PermitCore. It started because software licensing kept becoming a second product we had to build and maintain alongside the software we actually wanted to ship. We needed license creation, validation, device limits, offline support, customer access, payments, and a way to deliver licenses after a sale. Maintaining all of that infrastructure ourselves took too much time. PermitCore brings the full licensing lifecycle into one platform: • Create and manage licenses • Implement validation through a REST API or official SDKs for .NET, Node.js, Python, Java, C++, and PHP • Sell licenses through your own built-in Store The Store is an important part of PermitCore. Developers can go from creating a product to implementing licensing and selling it without connecting several separate services, and PermitCore takes 0% commission from software sales. It also supports online and offline verification, node-locked, floating, subscription, metered, and perpetual licenses, device limits, entitlements, expiry and revocation, customer and reseller portals, and Stripe automation. There is a permanent free plan for indie developers who are getting started, while paid plans include a three-month free trial.
