Hey everyone, I got tired of copying links into ad-filled, popup-riddled "downloader" sites just to save a reel, video, or photo set from social media. So I built Spidownbot to cut that step out entirely. How it works No websites, no pasting links into a browser: 1. Find a video, song, or photo on YouTube, X/Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Reddit, or TikTok. 2. Tap your phone's native Share button. 3. Choose Telegram → Spidownbot. 4. Done - the bot sends the file straight back in your chat. Features Up to 2GB files - runs on Telegram's MTProto, so no 50MB bot-API ceiling. Smart audio tagging - pulls 320kbps MP3s with embedded artist, title, and album art. Photo carousels - grabs full multi-image posts and Pinterest boards as native Telegram albums. Google Drive backup - optional auto-save to Drive via /drive . * Inline mode - type @Spidownbot <link> in any chat to fetch media on the fly. Looking for feedback This is still very much a work in progress - social platforms tweak their layouts constantly, so I'd love to hear what breaks. Pinterest pins, Instagram carousels, and high-res video are the edge cases I'm least sure about.
