Original Summary

Hi r/SideProject , I'm Melih. I'm a solo developer, not a host, so I'd really like feedback from people who are. The problem I'm trying to solve: Hosts are rarely there when their place is cleaned. If a guest later claims damage, all the host has is "the cleaner said it was fine". Airbnb's 2026 damage rules also lean on photo evidence. What Vouch does: The host sets up a property with a checklist. The cleaner joins with a code (no account, no email) and photographs each item before and after. Damage can be flagged separately. The host gets a photo report, with a PDF they can send to a guest, an owner or an insurer. Some things I enjoyed building: - The cleaner side is designed for one hand and gloves: 64pt tap targets, big text, icons carry the meaning and text only confirms it. The host side is a normal, denser UI. - One codebase (Expo Router, React Native) for two very different users. - Supabase for auth, Postgres with RLS and photo storage. Firebase only for analytics and crash reports. - Photos taken without signal go into an upload queue and sync later, since many properties have bad coverage. - 10 languages. Where it stands: Live on iOS now. Android is in the Play review process. What I'd love to hear: Hosts or anyone who works with cleaners: would your cleaners actually take the photos, or is that the weak point? What would you need in the report for it to be useful in a dispute? Pricing is Free (1 property, 1 cleaner, last 5 reports) and Pro at $9.99/month or $79.99/year, not per property. Does that feel right?
