Original Summary
Hey everyone, 8 months into a B2B SaaS, 2 of us building it. My co-founder owns the technical side; I've been running marketing and customer acquisition. Product's live, works fine. The problem is a family health situation just ate most of my available hours, and marketing is the part that needs a person actually showing up for it. I don't want growth to stall out, so I'm weighing brining someone else in for that side. Two models I keep going back and forth on: Profit or equity partnership where someone takes full ownership of marketing. If you've done this, how did it actually play out day to day? Affiliate/revenue share: 40% recurring commission per subscriber they bring in. Is 40% enough to get a marketer interested this early, or does nobody bite until there's more traction? Anyone here brought in outside help for growth while the founding team stayed small? What worked, what didn't? submitted by /u/Imaginary-Box8650 [link] [comments]
