Original Summary
Hi all. I've been running a few Claude Code sessions at once, and I kept missing the one that was waiting for me. I'd switch tabs, come back later, and find it had been stuck on a permission prompt the whole time. I also kept running into the 5-hour limit without seeing it coming. So I made a little app for myself called Vibepanions. It's a small character that sits on your screen. It types while your sessions are working, waves when one needs you, and goes to sleep when they're all done. There's a ring around it that shows how much of your 5-hour limit you've used as well. If you double-click it, it opens a bigger view with a desk for each session. You can click a desk to jump straight to that terminal. Sessions that are done walk off to a little pantry and play pool. That part is just for fun. Like mentioned, it's more about solving a me problem. :) A few things worth knowing: - Mac only (macOS 14 or later). Works with Claude Code and Codex. - Everything stays on your computer. No login, no API key. - It shows you the exact change it makes to your settings before installing, and you can remove it any time. Here's the site if you want to take a look: https://vibepanions.com No pressure at all. I'm mostly curious if anyone else has the same problem, and how you deal with it. Any feedback is welcome, good or bad. submitted by /u/DigitalVault [link] [comments]
