Original Summary

Every social app lets you disagree from behind a button. Downvote, scroll, done. The person never learns why they were wrong and neither do you. So I made Dissent: The Opinion Arena. You post a take, people vote agree or disagree, and if someone really disagrees they can challenge you to a head to head battle. Both sides argue, the crowd votes, 48 hours on the clock, winner takes the reputation. I used Compose Multiplatform, one codebase for Android and iOS. Custom edge swipe back, own pull to refresh, own screen transitions, because I did not want it to look like an Android app wearing an iPhone costume. Where it actually is right now, a few dozen users, a handful of live battles, and me refreshing the feed way too often. The hardest part was never the code.
