I’ve released version 2.0 of Veyra Root, my Android device-analysis and root-tooling project. The product problem I’m working on is continuity: when a technical task involves several files, partial findings and device-specific requirements, how do you make it easy to stop and come back later? THE MAIN CHANGE: A WORKBENCH This release adds a dedicated Builder Workingbench with saved sessions and resume, image/hash comparisons, evidence grouping, conflict tracking, and report import/export . Settings stay with the relevant builder instead of becoming one large general settings page. The supporting analysis now brings together OTA/catalog sources and device/kernel matching. The interface preserves an analysis-only result when compatibility has not been established. I want incomplete information to be visible and useful. WHAT ELSE SHIPPED Kernel-aware compatibility handling and improved manager awareness. Version information under System Management and About. A public update channel validating package identity, version and signer, plus APK hashes when supplied. Market/API and diagnostic-pack groundwork for future development. A PRODUCT DECISION I’D LIKE FEEDBACK ON For complex tools, how much unresolved information should appear on the main screen? My current direction is a concise status with detailed evidence inside the workbench. I’d like to hear how other makers balance a calm interface with enough context to avoid misleading users.
