Original Summary
Hi everyone, A lot of small service providers in India get paid monthly: home tutors, tiffin aunties, small gyms, yoga and music teachers, PG owners. When I talked to a few of them, the fee itself wasn't the problem. Asking for it was. Reminding a parent at the gate or a member mid-workout feels awkward, so they wait. By the 15th nobody remembers who paid in cash, who paid on UPI, and who hasn't paid yet. So I built Mahina → https://mahina.kriosity.in How it works: -Add your members with their name, phone number, monthly fee and due date -On the due date it shows who has paid, who has partly paid and who still owes -One tap opens WhatsApp with a polite reminder in Hindi, Hinglish or English, gentle or firm, plus your UPI payment link -The member opens the link, sees the amount and your QR code, and pays in two taps -You mark it paid and a receipt link goes back to them Money goes directly to your own UPI ID. Mahina takes no commission and charges no gateway fees. Members don't need to install anything. Pricing: free for up to 2 members. Pro is ₹149/month for unlimited members. I'd really value honest feedback on: Would you, or someone you know, actually use this? If not, why not? Is the landing page clear within 10 seconds? Is ₹149/month fair for this audience, or too high? Paid status is recorded manually, so there's no gateway. Is that a dealbreaker? What's missing that would make you switch from a notebook or Excel? Brutal feedback welcome. Thanks for reading 🙏 submitted by /u/Happy-Secretary5604 [link] [comments]
