Original Summary
The one thing that keeps crossing my mind is the amount of stuff I've learned around the costs to run a business, to sell goods, to run a SaaS, etc. Personally, I was already kind of "anti the man" lol, but with the rising cost of EVERYTHING these days in the United States I feel like starting up some of my own micro businesses has taught me just how much businesses are making off of people. And unfortunately for larger businesses it's not to just make a decent profit, as one should for building and running a business, but often times how often everyday people are being squeezed only to keep money circulating in the top 1% of the economy and to reward shareholders. I'm pretty much convinced that larger businesses barely give a f*#k about their customers. Small businesses certainly care more, probably because they have to. I didn't expect engaging in capitalistic behavior would make me less capitalistic, lol. submitted by /u/Lovamelin [link] [comments]
