Hi all, I built AI Golfing Coach. It just went live on Google Play, and the iPhone version is in App Store review. The problem Most golfers practise with no feedback at all. Lessons are expensive and you can't see your own swing. Filming yourself helps a bit, but a video doesn't tell you what's actually wrong or what to fix first. And when an app does give you a number, you have no way of knowing whether to trust it. What it does You film a swing with your phone, on the range or at home, with no sensors or extra kit. The app tracks your body through the whole swing and splits it into 8 moments: address, toe-up, mid-backswing, top, mid-downswing, impact, mid-follow-through and finish. It grades your positions at each moment and gives you a short report with the one thing to work on next. How it's different - It doesn't guess. It only grades a joint if the camera actually saw it. If your arm was hidden, the angle was wrong or the light was poor, it tells you what it couldn't measure and how to film the next one, instead of inventing a score. - It knows your camera angle. Filmed from behind (down the line), it grades setup, spine, swing plane and over-the-top moves, but it won't pretend to measure your turn or weight shift, which that angle can't see. Film face-on and you get the full score. - No chatbot. Every coaching line comes straight from your measurements, so it can't make something up. - One next step, not 20 faults. The report picks the single thing most worth working on. - Plain English. No medians, deltas or raw angles, just what happened and what to try. - Whole range sessions count.
