I'm the developer of Send by Sunset, a cozy desktop companion from Barabaka Games. It sits in the corner of your screen while you work, with a little apartment you can furnish yourself. You add a task, give it an estimate and choose a focus session when you're ready. The character walks to the laptop and works alongside you. The countdown keeps running during her breaks, while desk time records when she's actually working. You decide when to check a task off. Between sessions, you can rearrange the room. A reading corner with warm lamps, plants by the window, or a gaming setup with neon lights. Furniture is included and available from the start. There's music, support for your own tracks, and background sounds you can mix. Optional chat runs a small model on your computer, without a separate AI account or subscription. I tested it on short rewrites, such as making a request for meeting notes more polite. It doesn't perform actions or complete tasks for you. Some game models and music use generative AI.
