Original Summary
I'm one of the developers of Numeric Battle, and I wanted to share the project with other builders. The core loop is small: arrange your own numbered grid, then take turns calling numbers. Every call marks that number on both players' boards. You win by completing the required lines for the selected board size before the other player. That makes board setup part of the game: two players can receive the same number calls but get different lines because they placed those numbers differently. A move that brings your line closer to completion can also help your opponent. The Android release includes 3x3 through 7x7 boards, AI practice at three difficulty levels, online matchmaking, and private rooms with a code. There are also ELO rankings and match history where you can review both boards afterward. I'd value a builder's perspective on how to explain the shared-number mechanic clearly. Does the description above make the first decision understandable, or would a concrete example work better? If you try it, feedback on board setup and the first match would also help. Online matches require an internet connection. submitted by /u/ngobietyeu [link] [comments]
