Google Inbox died in 2019. Its best feature — bundles — died with it. An open-source extension (inboxy) brought bundles back to Gmail, but it went unmaintained. So I picked it up as a weekend project: rebranded it as Inbundly (GPL-3.0, full credit to the original author), added the features I needed, and kept polishing until it felt right to ship properly. Now live on the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons: - Bundles emails by label into tidy, collapsible groups (plus custom bundles, priority rules, label colors, dark mode) - 100% local — no servers, no accounts, no tracking The personal itch: I triage my inbox together with AI agents, and both humans and agents work way better on a structured inbox than a firehose.
