Original Summary
Hello reddit, Let me start with the problem that I have encountered and I'm trying to fix. This industry is very fast paced and constantly changing. I noticed it would take me a lot of time constantly to reaserch what tech stacks people use and it would constatly change. E.g. I was looking for a DevOps jobs and was wondering what stacks are usually used. This is the problem I'm trying to fix (while adding more useful features). The other big selling points is sometimes I wonder what stacks big indie devs in the space build with. So here's what I came up with, it's called https://stackstash.dev , right now it's in very early stages but I have a roadmap already in mind to where this can go and what kind of value it can bring to any dev, at any level. From price estimations, easy stop to find integrations (with links soon) between tools, to alterantives, sorted by level and much more (I want to make a easy initialization of a stack starter kit, where YOU can choose your stack) The idea here is for anyone that's building (at least somewhat succesful) to share (if they want to) their tech stack, publicly so others, like myself, can learn and try their way. Note: All the Stacks and Tools additions are MANUALLY reviewed by me . I'm doing this to avoid junk posting and make sure the platform brings real VALUE to someone trying to use it. Now, what I need from you? Simple, I'd like for you to check it out (if this sounds intersing/helpful to YOU) and give me some feedback. What you like, what you don't like. Is this even worth keep sinking my hours on end into (it's a passion project for the most part) ? Does this bring VALUE to you? Thanks for reading this much text, I might update this post as needed. submitted by /u/methamorf [link] [comments]
