Original Summary

I got tired of the way I was managing my job search. Open umpteen tabs on sites like LinkedIn, Indeed, and company career pages. Copy job links into a spreadsheet, prioritise those, spend time to tailor it, apply. Then forget which jobs I actually applied to. So I built JobFoundry. The idea is simple: Browse → Capture → Analyse → Score → Tailor → Track It uses a browser extension to capture jobs while you're actually browsing, then turns them into a structured job-search pipeline. What it does One-click job capture from job boards and company career pages 50+ job boards / ATS providers Duplicate & cross-listing detection CV-to-job fit scoring with strengths and gaps CV tailoring for individual job descriptions Tailoring is constrained to your actual CV — it shouldn't invent employers, qualifications, skills or achievements Kanban application tracking from discovered → interested → applied → interview → offer Works with cloud LLMs or local models Local-first and open source Your CV, jobs and application data can stay on your own machine/server The goal isn't to automatically apply to 500 jobs. It's to make the actual job-search process less chaotic and repetitive. The short video attached is AI-generated product video. The UI in the video is just mock UI, not a pixel-perfect representation of the current JobFoundry interface. JobFoundry itself is real, open source, and currently in beta.
