I've been building a small fitness app and recently got the MVP working. I'm using a pose recognition model to track body landmarks in real time, then applying my own rules on top of the pose data to decide when a complete push-up has been performed. In my latest test, it correctly detected 9 out of 10 push-ups. It's still an early MVP, but getting the detection this consistent was a nice milestone.
