Original Summary
www.Weekliner.com is a weekly planner, similar to Trello. I built this awhile ago, and adding and tweaking the features over time so that it has a seamless user experience. I don't have many features and am trying to keep the UI clean and straightforward. The purpose of this is to just have a reliable, easy-to-follow tool for tracking my daily tasks and the things I need to accomplish. Yes - it's an embellished task manager tool. But no analytics and all that other bullshit. No onboarding, fancy landing page and all that crap. I'm not interested in that. Right now, production doesn't have a backend, so you can test it out but if you refresh the page your data will get lost (just giving you a heads up). Is there a place for this tool? I know there's trello, notion, google docs etc - but I've tried them all and honestly, they're not as straightforward and robust/reliable like what I'm building (in my opinion). But would appreciate some harsh real feedback. If you think there's value here, what features would you want to add? Some things I'm going to add are: categorizing task cards syncing with the google calendar so events show up in the daily containers daily view - where you can add notes and see more information Incorporate sections to lay out your morning and evening routines (which for me are super important to start and end the day otherwise I spiral) A pomodoro timer and some other inside features, including reminder popups that will connect to a chrome extension submitted by /u/eskideji [link] [comments]
