Loupe is acts as an AI photo editor that you can talk to. You type what you want in plain words and it works on the actual controls like a human editor: exposure, highlights, white balance, curves, local masks. Every move it makes shows up on the sliders with a one-line reason, and each one is a step in the history you can undo. This idea came to mind because I realised that current generative tools these days often edit the images/photos but is often not consistent and can cause hallucination due to its generative nature. This app acts in a different way, where the edits are based on a set of controls and filters that human editors use. Hence, the tough part of it was just teaching the AI the taste of an expert photo editor. What it does right now: - Non-destructive editing, WebGL rendering in the browser, your full photo stays on your device (a small thumbnail goes to the model so it can see) - Suggestions on import: it reads the photo and proposes a few directions written for that specific shot - Installable as a PWA for better mobile experience What I am still working on: the few seconds of wait before suggestions appear, RAW support, and better personalisation overall.
