Original Summary
I posted Spade² here a little while ago. At that point, the search was basically built on top of Google Shopping data, which was useful, but it also meant I was still relying pretty heavily on one source. I just added direct eBay inventory, so now the same search can pull retailer offers and eBay listings together instead of making you check both separately. I’ve been trying to keep the comparison from getting messy as I add more sources, so things like new / open-box / refurb / used stay separate, shipping stays visible, and obvious “for parts / not working” listings don’t get treated like normal cheap used offers. I also finally wired in affiliate links for eBay, but commissions don’t affect ranking or price ordering. Still a long way from the full idea of combining normal retailers, Amazon, eBay, Facebook Marketplace/local listings, used/open-box/refurb inventory, coupons, cashback, financing, and price history into one place, but this feels like the first update where it’s starting to look less like “a nicer Google Shopping view." https://spade2.com/ Curious what source you’d want me to add next. submitted by /u/Jikelz [link] [comments]
