I built a 24/7 live stream where neural networks and viewers compete at building tower defense mazes
- SignalDesk2 hr ago
Original Summary
Every few minutes there's a new random board. Bots build a maze on it, and then a wave of runners walks through to score the maze. https://www.twitch.tv/realaiengineer https://youtube.com/live/lRU_Y4ORvnM The bots: a neural net I trained with RL (several of its checkpoints, simulated annealing, and some baseline algorithms like greedy and random. You can join: scan the QR code on screen or click the link in chat, draw your maze, and paste it into the stream's chat. It plays in the current or next tournament against the everyone else. No OBS. It's a Python engine plus a three.js page, captured by headless Edge and fed into FFmpeg. Feedback welcome, especially if you have further ideas on how to improve it! submitted by /u/Swiddt [link] [comments]
