Original Summary
I run ops at a UGC agency, mostly apps and digital products. After a lot of casting rounds, here's what actually predicts a creator who converts: They sound like a user, not a presenter. Slightly messy, natural delivery beats polished every time. They can say the product's value in one sentence. If they need 30 seconds to explain it, the ad is already dead. Raw > produced. Phone-shot, good audio, decent light. That's it. Audience size barely matters for paid. For ads, we've had creators with zero followers outperform people with 100k. One creator, three hooks. Testing different openings with the same person teaches you more than testing five creators with the same hook. The biggest mistake I see from founders: briefing the creator with a feature list instead of the one problem the user has. What's been your experience? Anyone found UGC that actually works for B2B/SaaS, or is it mostly a B2C thing? submitted by /u/vboasjoyads [link] [comments]
