Original Summary
The question we’re working on is simple: “I want to ride 20 miles, but I don’t want to take the same roads again.” I’m behind RideLoop Cycling Labs. RideLoop lets you choose a starting point and distance, then builds a round-trip road ride with mileage and an estimated ride time. The focus is quieter roads and making it easier to discover a ride without spending the evening drawing it turn by turn. Garmin delivery is available, too. Road selection matters more to us than simply getting the distance right. A generated route still needs a rider’s judgment about conditions; we don’t promise that any road is completely safe. If you’d like to try it, there’s a free option: https://rideloopcycling.com For road cyclists here: what makes you trust a suggested route enough to ride it? Road surface, traffic, shoulder width, elevation, or something else? We’d appreciate specific feedback on what you’d want to see before heading out. submitted by /u/Ill-Adeptness-1511 [link] [comments]
